Quality Assurance

Graintech Milling Systems (Pty) Ltd and Makeway Engineering Co (Pty) Ltd, as part of its management policy, are operating a Total Quality Management (TQM) system based on an ongoing quality improvement process and are committed to quality as stated in the attached “Quality Policy.”

The Quality Programme is based on SABS/ISO 9000 Code of Practice for Quality Systems.

Responsibility

The Managing Director is directly responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Policy including the Quality Assurance Systems and Procedures, and the delegation of responsibilities within his operation to ensure all requirements are met.

Systems and Procedures

The overall system comprises the following:

• Quality Manual
• Procedures Manual
• Work Instructions

The Quality Manual utilizes the elements of the various requirements within the Code of Practice.

Project Quality

This is comprised of the following:

• Project Quality Plan
• Inspection and Test Plans
• Specific Instructions

A typical Project Quality Plan Index will be made available on request.

Procedures Include

• Systems – As per elements of Code of Practice.
• Specific Instructions
